Psychiatric hospital Ugljan is build in the island of Ugljan, in the city of Ugljan.

Island of Ugljan is located directly opposite of city of Zadar. Long time ago Ugljan was island of workers and fishermen, and today is part of the city which is connected to the center with numerous ferry lines. Rich Mediterranean vegetation on Island surrounds many small villages in which habitants used to life for centuries out of olive oil making and fishing. Looking from the Zadar, you can see that the highest point which is St. Mihovil with the most beautiful view on Zadar archipelago and the city of Zadar. Island has 7 villages Ugljan, Lukoran, Sutomiščica, Poljana, Preko, Kali i Kukljica.

City of Ugljan is the biggest in the island and has the long tourist tradicion.With its nine villages It is located in northwest part of the island ( Čeprljanda, Lucino Selo, Batalaža, Sušica, Gornje Selo, Muline, Guduce, Foroštine, Varoš). Very nice lagoons are Cinta, Mostir and Luka in Muline.

HOW TO REACH US?
Ferry harbor is in the center of Zadar. Ferry boats for island of Ugljan-Preko are scheduled daily (every 30 minutes), and the last ferry for Preko is in 23 h. Ferry schedule you can find at Jadrolinija web site.

If you are coming with a car, after coming to Preko, go right and follow sign for Ugljan which is 20 km from Preko.

If you are not with a car, buses from Preko leave for Ugljan as scheduled...
